Dear colleague,

On the 20th and 21st of November, our Albumin Global Summit took place in Singapore and thanks to everyone’s hard work, participation and contribution, it was truly a real success.

In our 3rd newsletter, we would like to share snippets from the event to capture the key topics discussed as well as the summit's spirit.

Day 1:

Supply of PDT & Albumin - After a heartfelt welcome, Andreas interviewed Helen and Christina about future capacity, and we learned how localised collection and disruptive manufacturing technologies will enable geographic expansion.

From plasma to packaging - Heidi and Christina took us on the journey of albumin preparation, where we were lucky enough to witness some exclusive and highly confidential footage of the Flexbumin filling process.

New allocation & reallocation Processes - Erdinc helped us connect the dots between supply and allocation/reallocation.

Business and Competition - The afternoon session started with a finance update from Andreas, Gökhan, Karina and Mandy, followed by a deep dive into tender engagement with Helen, John and Pervinder. After that, we explored the opportunities and threats posed by the Grifols AMBAR study and Flexbag, with Chris, Robert and Frederic.

Day 2:

A spark of inspiration - We kicked off Day 2 with a keynote from the sensational and spellbinding Allison Massari, who shared her personal touching experience as a burn survivor.

HCP perspectives - Then, eminent key opinion leaders, Dr. Mehta, Dr. Maiwall and Prof. Decai shared their own approaches to albumin therapy.

Relaunch - The session kicked off with a bang, with Christian and Frederic engaging in a frank and spirited discussion about the very latest market research insights and the challenges these pose for our global strategy.

Flexbumin 2.0 - To round up the Relaunch session, Andreas led the room through discussions about a potential new generation of Flexbumin, exploring both stablizer-driven and container-enabled options.

Best practices - Finally, we ended the second day with a sharing of Best Practices from both China and India, followed by the Global Albumin Summit Awards. Keep reading to check who were the winners!
